Building Infrastructure for the Next Generation of Property Markets

MeridianSquare was founded around a simple observation: real estate contains enormous value, but that value remains difficult to divide, move, finance and access across borders.

Why We Exist

Blockchain can improve some of those problems. Blockchain alone cannot solve them.

  • Property rights remain governed by law.
  • Ownership remains recorded by authoritative systems.
  • Investors remain subject to eligibility requirements.
  • Transactions require settlement.
  • Regulators require oversight.
  • Assets require servicing throughout their lifecycle.

MeridianSquare exists to connect those layers.

Giridhar Akkineni is a serial technology entrepreneur, investor and business builder with more than three decades of experience creating and scaling technology-driven companies.

He previously founded AkkenCloud, an enterprise SaaS platform that helped transform how staffing companies manage their businesses. After years of building and scaling the company, AkkenCloud was acquired by Avionté in 2024 — providing Giridhar with the experience of taking an enterprise software company from vision through growth to successful acquisition.

His entrepreneurial interests extend beyond enterprise software. Giridhar is also involved with The Driver Lounge, a premium Formula 1 hospitality business creating distinctive race-weekend experiences, including The Schumacher Lounge at the Italian Grand Prix in Monza, and HairSync, a technology venture using AI-powered tools to connect barbers, shops and clients through a modern industry platform.

MeridianSquare represents the next chapter of that entrepreneurial journey — and his most ambitious infrastructure vision to date.

Rather than approaching real-estate tokenization as another blockchain application or investment marketplace, Giridhar sees a much larger challenge: building the infrastructure required to connect one of the world’s largest asset classes with digital capital markets.

That vision is the foundation of Digital Property Infrastructure — connecting property rights, authoritative records, identity, regulation, digital ownership, settlement and institutional capital through interoperable infrastructure.

Through MeridianSquare and CubeSquare, Giridhar is applying decades of enterprise platform-building experience to a generational transformation in how real estate can be owned, financed, transferred and accessed globally.

Our Position in the Ecosystem

Digital Property Infrastructure is designed around coordination.

MeridianSquare does not assume that property registries, title companies, banks, custodians, broker-dealers, marketplaces or blockchain networks should be replaced.

The opportunity is to connect the institutions and systems already responsible for legal rights, financial regulation, ownership and settlement.

Our Mission

Connect property infrastructure with global capital.

Our long-term vision is a world in which digital property ownership can move through secure, regulated infrastructure without losing its connection to the legal systems that give that ownership meaning.

How We Build

Four Operating Principles

01

Compliance by Design

Regulatory requirements are part of the architecture, not an afterthought.

02

Registry-First Thinking

The legal property record remains foundational.

03

Jurisdiction-Configurable Infrastructure

Different markets require different rules.

04

Interoperability

The future requires connecting existing systems, not pretending they do not exist.
